Ottawa book launch of TAKEDOWN

We are pleased to confirm the Ottawa Region Book launch for Patrick Brown’s new book TAKEDOWN

It is your chance to meet and hear Mayor Patrick Brown speak about politics. Learn about the backroom deals, the consultants and key players who ultimately played a role in his hasty resignation as party leader. This is a story about a person who rebuilt the party from the ground up with an inclusive and diverse group of passionate Canadians and for Patrick’s vision for Ontario.

Unfortunately that party is no more and according to recent media reports and defections the PC Party seems to be run by despots and yes men under Doug Ford. He rules with an iron fist and according to numerous MPP’s and Ministers behind the scenes,;they are unified by fear and nothing more!

“Politics is described as a bloodsport ... this book [has] taken it to a new level. I would call it a Game of Thrones kind of assassination.
—Cynthia Mulligan, CityNews, Toronto

“Brown lets the reader in on the inner workings of politics in a way that’s never been done before. … Laid out bluntly and honestly, there is a lot of retrospection.”
—Diana Davison, The Post Millennial

“Brampton Mayor-elect Patrick Brown’s new memoir breaks the mould of stodgy, predictable political biographies that employ pedestrian language to bore readers into submission … It’s a tell-all thriller and political takedown of Ontario Progressive Cons.”
—San Grewal, Publisher of The Pointer

“Former Ontario PC leader Patrick Brown comes out swinging in a new tell-all memoir.”
—Farrah Merali, CBC News

“To be honest, I couldn’t put it down.”
