Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.), nestled on the Eastern seaboard of the Atlantic, holds a rich history deeply intertwined with Canada's narrative. Despite its small size, P.E.I. played a pivotal role in shaping the nation's destiny, notably through its dedication to defending freedoms during both World Wars.

During the tumultuous years of the early 20th century, brave Islanders answered the call to arms, making untold sacrifices on foreign battlefields. Their courage and resilience exemplified the island's steadfast commitment to the ideals of liberty and justice.

However, in more recent times, P.E.I. has faced a different kind of battle—one against the insidious forces of corruption and exploitation. An impoverished province often overlooked by the rest of Canada, P.E.I. seemed to experience an economic revival with the introduction of the Provincial Nomination Program (PNP). This initiative brought immigrants from around the world, including a significant focus on China. Yet, beneath the surface of this apparent prosperity lurked shadows of deceit and manipulation.

The veil of corruption was lifted when the Canadian Border Services Agency uncovered a scheme involving fraudulent activities by Chinese immigrants. But like many such investigations it was rumoured to have been shut down by the Canadian Security Services Agency perhaps to cover the CCP’s increased soft and sharp power operations on Canadian soil.  A hotel, on the island somehow became the mailing address and home to over 500 +former Chinese nationals.  This was to deceive the government in hope they might collect some of their deposit money back for remaining in the province one of the provisions within their contract with the government. Individuals exploited loopholes in an attempt to defraud the government, highlighting the depths of corruption permeating the island's institutions because the government knew full well what was going on because only 3 in 10 actually stayed on the island.

Meanwhile, a concerned group of citizens stumbled upon a revelation that would shake the island to its core. A video, based on the book "The Mosaic Effect," exposed the infiltration of Buddhist monasteries by organizations with ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Through opaque real estate transactions and questionable financial dealings, P.E.I. became unwittingly entangled in a global web of intrigue orchestrated by the CCP.

The gravity of the situation became starkly apparent on March 17th, when Islanders gathered for a book launch event featuring esteemed panelists including Garry Clement, Michel Juneau-Katsuya, and Dominic Cardy. Together, they shed light on the insidious tactics employed by the CCP and the urgent need for vigilance against its influence operations.

Titled "North America Under Siege: How Anne Shirley Became a CCP Secret Weapon," the book delves into the depths of this covert warfare. The panelists dissected the intricacies of hybrid warfare, money laundering, and the misuse of charitable organizations, urging citizens to stand up against such nefarious activities.

As the discussion unfolded, it became evident that the battle for P.E.I.'s integrity was far from over. With calls for greater transparency and citizen action, the event marked a rallying cry for democracy and freedom in the face of adversity. Through collective vigilance and unwavering resolve, Islanders vowed to safeguard their homeland from the encroaching shadows of corruption and manipulation.

The book will chronicle how the island, its elite families and politicians were captured through economic inducements and cultural exchanges all designed to show a more benign and positive picture about a regime responsible for killing 70 million citizens of China including more recently the cultural and physical genocide against the Uyghur peoples of East Turkestan. The CCP has always attempted to push a narrative that they were reforming but now under Xi they push back on every front and in every global institution. The Transnational repression of millions of Chinese, Tibetan, Falun Gong and Uyghur diaspora plays out every day.

PEI became a portal for many questionable immigrants from countries all over the world and through our journalistic investigation it’s now clear this island has had a much bigger role in the CCP’s Hybrid Warfare operations against the United States and all free and democratic nations.
